Occupied
Spaces
Modular Furniture: Premier
utilizes patented furniture lift systems to
replace floor covering in occupied office space.
These state-of-the-art systems' unique
technology create an efficient and economical
alternative to dismantling and moving
office furniture systems while replacing finished
flooring. These lift systems raise your existing
modular furniture system and replace the carpet
beneath with carpet tile. This eliminates the
need to move or disconnect most existing
data systems or electrical wires that reside
within the furniture system. Customers can
realize as much as a 30% savings over
traditional carpet replacement methods.
Office & Schools:
Premier has crews that can remove and replace
traditional office and classroom furniture,
bookcases, file cabinets, and other items for
your flooring replacement.
Auditoriums &
Houses of Worship: Premier works with
specialized contractors to remove, and replace pews
and other seating. Temporary on- or off-site
storage is also available.
Concrete
Subfloors
Premier performs concrete
moisture and alkalinity testing as required by
most flooring manufactures. Premier can provide
concrete floor leveling, patching, and repair whether
your slab is old or new.
Reclamation
Premier is one of only a few
flooring contractors in the Atlanta market that
reclaims new scrap and old carpet from
our projects resulting in the diversion of
100,000's of pounds of carpet tile and broadloom
flooring materials from
our landfills. This is not something we only do
with "green" projects but a routine
procedure for our crews as our continued commitment to
environmental sustainability and our corporate responsibility.
We are able to provide reclamation documentation
for LEED® projects.
Premier maintains
a collection facility for these materials at our
warehouse location.
Once our tractor trailers are filled, they are
transported to a reclamation center where the
these materials are either recycled, downcycled,
or repurposed.
Recycling involves
converting old carpet back into raw
materials for new carpet and other products of
the same value such as vinyl backing into vinyl
backing. Downcycling involves creating a less
valuable product from the old material such as
nylon face fiber into car parts or carpet
padding, including nylon face fiber in recycled
backings, or using carpet for waste-to-energy.
Repurposing involves taking old carpet in good
condition and donating it to charities and other
nonprofit organizations for reuse.
