Premier Contract Carpet,
Inc. is a service-oriented full-service commercial flooring
contractor that was established in 1999 by John Peterson
and Mel Evans after many years in the flooring
industry working with some of the leading
flooring contractors in the Atlanta area. John
has been working in the commercial flooring
industry since 1982 while Mel has been active in
flooring since 1967. Since their inception,
Premier has had the mission of providing quality
flooring products and professional installations
with personalized customer service as a top
priority for all members of the Premier staff.

In the first year,
Premier's sales reached $3 million then just eight years later in
2007, annual sales have exceeded 23 million dollars.
In June of 2007 & 2008, Floor Covering Weekly named
Premier One of the Top
25 Commercial Flooring Contractors in the US

2007 article]. In August 2008, Southeast
Construction magazine named Premier on of the Top
Specialty Contractors in the SE (GA, AL, NC,
SC). This growth has only been possible
by providing quality installations and superior service resulting in
repeat business due to our customers having a
better flooring experience. This is also a major
factor in why facility managers and owners, general
contractors, project managers, developers,
tenants, and others in Greater Atlanta and throughout
the Southeast rely time and time again on
Premier for their floor covering needs.

enabled them to build an experienced sales and support team
second to none. The staff at Premier understands

members that have been with the company since
it's first year of operation. Of the nine, seven
work in sales with a combined experience of over
200 years in the flooring industry. This gives
